iHeel technology was developed after more than three years of research in collaboration with the leading experts in Italian luxury footwear. We partnered with CERCAL Lab, one of Italy’s most prestigious research centers, and with the world’s foremost footwear engineers. Together with them, we analyzed how the foot moves as heel height varies and developed an innovative construction process for the shoe’s structure that, for the first time in history, maintains perfect ergonomics in the arch area regardless of heel height. Thanks to this technology, iHeel reduces pressure on the back and ankles by nearly 50% compared to traditional fixed heels, offering ergonomic and stable support for over 12 hours of continuous use.
CERCAL Lab is located in the San Mauro Pascoli district and was founded by the brands: Sergio Rossi, Casadei, Zanotti, Pollini, and Gianvito Rossi.
